Notes

Saro turns a clinical dictation into a structured note. Generation runs in the background so you can continue using the app.

Create a note

From Home:

  1. Tap Add note.
  2. Select a patient or create a new record.
  3. Choose the note type.

From a patient record, open the Notes tab, then tap Note or New note.

The available types are Emergency / Walk-in, Follow-up, Infiltration, Prise en charge, Psychiatric, Resuscitation, and Phone follow-up.

Record the dictation

  1. Start recording and dictate the relevant information naturally.
  2. Use Pause and Resume as needed.
  3. Tap Stop when the dictation is complete.

You may leave the screen while recording. A floating bar lets you return to the note, pause, or stop. Only one recording can be active at a time.

After stopping, keep Saro open during the initial upload. Transcription and generation can then continue in the background.

Review and edit a note

Open the note from the feed or the patient record's Notes tab. You can:

  • edit the text directly;
  • add a new dictation to the existing content;
  • change the note type;
  • delete the note.

Text is saved automatically. Wait for the Saved indicator before closing the note.

Change the note type

Select another type. Saro then asks whether to:

  • keep the content and change only the type; or
  • regenerate the content using the new type's structure.

Customize note structure

Customization instructions are created on the web under Profile → Customization. They then apply to new notes generated on both platforms.

From Profile → Notes on mobile, you can also:

  • display a QR code to share your customizations;
  • scan another doctor's QR code;
  • merge the received instructions with yours or replace the selected note types.
