Web App — Overview

The Saro web app is accessible from your browser at app.saro-ia.ca. It is optimized for managing your clinical shift on a larger screen: patients, notes, forms, billing, and practice preferences.

The top navigation bar gives access to the main sections:

  • Home: Current shift dashboard, activity feed, quick actions, patients to bill, and statistics.
  • Billing: Current shift billing memo, attachments, and PDF report generation.
  • Settings: Theme, language, processing updates, security, and subscription.
  • Help: The Get started guide and a link to this documentation.
  • User menu: Profile, workplaces, preferences, and sign out.

Current Shift

The dashboard is organized around the current shift. Confirm the shift date and workplace before creating patients, notes, forms, or billing entries. Items added during a shift are associated with that shift and feed the matching billing report.

From Home, you can:

  • quickly create a patient;
  • add a note to a patient;
  • open patient, note, or form cards from the activity feed;
  • filter and search the current shift activity;
  • review patients to bill and shift statistics.

Synchronization and Processing

Notes, forms, and patient details can be generated in the background. Results appear automatically when processing completes. For more information, see Async Tasks.

Sign In

  1. Go to app.saro-ia.ca
  2. Enter your email address and password
  3. Click Continue
  4. If two-step verification is enabled, enter the code sent by email

Create an Account

  1. From the sign-in page, click Create an Account
  2. Enter your email address, choose a password, and accept the terms
  3. Submit the form
  4. If a verification code is requested, enter the code sent by email

Depending on your organization configuration, sign-up may be restricted. If you cannot create an account, contact the Saro team.
