Video guideCreate and review a noteWatch on Loom

Saro turns a clinical dictation into a structured note. Generation continues in the background while you use the app.

Create a note

From Home, click Add note, choose a patient, then select a note type. From a patient record, open the Notes tab and click Add note.

The available types are Emergency / Walk-in, Follow-up, Infiltration, Prise en charge, Psychiatric, Resuscitation, and Phone follow-up.

  1. Start recording and dictate the relevant information naturally.
  2. Use Pause and Resume as needed.
  3. Stop recording when the dictation is complete.
  4. Wait for the notification that the note is ready.

Only one recording can be active at a time. The recording indicator lets you return to the note if you navigate elsewhere in the app.

Review and edit a note

Open the note from the feed or patient record. You can:

  • edit text, which is saved automatically;
  • add a new dictation to existing content;
  • change the type and keep the current text or regenerate it;
  • copy the note to the clipboard;
  • delete the note.

Wait for the Saved indicator before closing the window.

Actions on several notes

In a patient's Notes tab, the action menu lets you:

  • copy all notes;
  • generate all available AH-280 forms and find them under Forms.

An open note also lets you generate its AH-280 individually.

Customize notes

Under Profile → Customization, choose All types or a specific type, select an example note, and describe the desired result. You can:

  • add, remove, or reorganize sections;
  • disable symbols or abbreviations;
  • preview the result and transcription;
  • save or reset instructions;
  • share customizations with another doctor by QR code.

Saved instructions apply to new notes generated on mobile and web.
